Community Research - Aging and Heat
Dr Jack Evans at the University of Exeter is launching a research project focused on the experiences of residents aged 60 and over living in rural Devon, particularly those navigating the challenges of living on a lower or fixed income. The goal of the project is to understand how older adults prepare for and cope with extreme heat (like heat waves). They will use this information to create plans for improving health and wellbeing and protecting against the heat during spells of extreme hot weather.
